Roadrunner is a app which guide the drivers to be safe on the road and avoid the accidents on the road, Windows mobile base solution and will be a community base application which will be able to feed data by the public and near real time feed application.

Project Scope Statement

Project Purpose :

This project will result an application which will really helpful for the community and will increase the safety on the road. In business perspective, this app will have a wide market which will use by the drivers and willing to buy this due to safety alert and near realtime feed. Will be a commercial app and user will be get the update and support by buying the app.

Objectives :

Roadrunner will reduce the number of the accidents and will increase the quality of the driving on the road. Indirectly will increase the buying rate while spreading in the community and the feature selling rate can be high due to safety experience by the users.

Deliverables :

Central data manipulating Roadrunner portal server.

Mobile application

Users will manually feed the Road signs, Accidents and etc.

Improved the navigation feature to an extended version with safty features.

Scope :

Users will feed the road signs to the portal

Users will report accidents to the portal

Users will get the navigation guide to point to point

Users will get weather update on destination location

User will not get the other incidents on the road other than road traffic accidents

Users will not get road traffic changes made by the government or any other party

Communication Strategy

Communication Strategy :

Project Manager will communicate with the sponsor via E-mail and will join with the team by weekly. Project manager will arrange a meeting with executive sponsor once a month. If any emergency incident Telephone will be the media to communicate with the sponsor. Project team will provide a weekly report to Project manager and project manager will feed the relevant parties including sponsors.
